Best, Zula, 95, of Riverview, passed away on August 12, 2012. Zula was a wonderful grandmother and a member of the First Baptist Church of East Bay. She was great cook who used vegetables from her own garden for many of her meals. She previously worked at Have-a-Cigar in Ybor City. She is preceded in death by her son, Joseph Larue Best. Zula is survived by her loving family, son, Virgil Best and his wife Shirley; sister, Evelyn Lunette Thornton; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. There will be a funeral service on August 15, 2012 at 10:00 am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Keen Cemetery
