Wood, Yvonne 76 a lifelong resident of the Brandon Area, passed away on June 18, 2019. She graduated from Jefferson High School and earned a Master's Degree in education from USF. She dedicated her life to the Hillsborough County public School System, serving as a guidance counselor for over 30 years. She devoted her free moments to the community while participating as an active member in the Church of Christ. Her passion for travel and love to her family will forever be missed. Yvonne will now rejoin her beloved husband Frank Wood, who she was married to for 45 years. Yvonne is survived by her loving family, son, Christopher Wood, his wife Kelly and their children, Jackson and Wyatt; daughter, Yvette Rego and her daughters, Alexa and Madison. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior.
