William Gray "Chuck" Motsinger went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 2, 2021.  He was born in Winston-Salem, NC on May 6, 1950 to the Hubert Alvin Motsinger and Mary Lynn Motsinger (Stanley).  Chuck graduated from West Forsyth High School in 1967 and attended Hillsborough Community College, focusing on business administration.  He was a decorated war veteran, serving in the 1 ^st Cavalry Unit of the US Army in the Tet Offensive during Vietnam.  Chuck spent most of his career as a licensed plumber, working in construction until transitioning to residential service.  He loved life and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, boating and camping, and always sporting a good tan.

Chuck is survived by his son Michael D. Hicks (Amy) and daughters Jennifer Lynnel Motsinger and Jamie Renfroe (Chris); grandsons Carson Hicks, Chevy Molina, Connor Hicks, Joshua Gray Motsinger II and granddaughter Kaitlyn Molina.

A private graveside service will be held on September 18, 2021 at 11 am at Serenity Meadows, where he will rest next to his son, Josh.  A separate Celebration of Life will be held in North Carolina at a later date.
