Miller, William D., 60, passed away November 3, 2012. He joins his mother, father, aunts, uncles, mother-in-law, father-in-law and a brother-in-law with the Lord. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sue; daughter, Taneka; son, Nicholas and son's dog, Bones; his brothers, Edgar Miller, Jr. (Alice), Howard Miller (Audrey) and Phillip Miller, Sr. (Carol); sister, Marilyn Wetley (Levine); and many beloved aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and friends. He served in the U.S. Army from 1972 through 1974. Bill's passion in life was working with children through coaching little league baseball and working the wienie wagon concession at youth football. After his coaching career ended, he loved watching his son and daughter play softball in their adulthood. He took pride in making people laugh and never wanted to take things too seriously. Bill will always be remembered for his dedication to his family, ever present smile, and jokester personality. He will be dearly missed. The family especially wants to thank everyone at Moffitt and LifePath Hospice in Sun City Center. The kindness and compassion shown by people of these organizations on a daily basis under the most difficult circumstances is truly amazing. Join the family to celebrate Bill's life on Saturday, November 10, 2012. Viewing for friends and family will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with services at 1:00 pm. The family will also receive friends after the service at S & S Tacos and Stuff, 10664 U.S. Hwy 301 S, Riverview.
