Lockhart, William P., 82, of Riverview, passed away on February 9, 2008. He proudly served our country as a United States Marine and was a WWII veteran. William moved to Florida in 1972 from Pittsburgh, PA. He was a member of Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon. William was married in 1957 to Evelyn Traub Lockhart, who preceded him in death in April of 1999. He is also predeceased by his brothers, Robert T. Lockhart, John Lockhart, Roy E. Lockhart and sister, Betty E. Sietz. He is survived by his loving sister, Jean Murdy. His family would like to give a special thank you to William's dear friends, Anne and Paul Misiaszek of Riverview.
There will be a gathering of family and friends today, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Garden of Prayer at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
