Gay, WILLIAM G. "Jerry", 77, of Riverview, passed away June 30, 2009. Born October 10, 1931 in Wetumpka, Alabama, he was a 10-year USAF veteran, thereafter retired from Cargill after 32 years. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy; daughters: Carole Meuret (Chris) and Cindy Delaparte (Al); grandchildren: Kevin Rought (Tameris), Lauren Delaparte, and Nick Delaparte; great-grandchild: Tyler Rought.
Jerry was a devoted member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Riverview since 1961, serving many years in different capacities. Family will receive friends, 9:30 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2009, at First Baptist Church of Riverview, service following at 10:30 a.m. with burial at Fellowship Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Riverview Building Fund.
