William Hamilton, "Bill", of Riverview passed away August 11th, 2022.  Born and raised in Orlando, West Virginia he graduated from Burnsville High School.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Margaret Hamilton; and his sibling Stanley, Helen, Lee, Margaret, Mark, and Max.  Bill is survived by his wife, (he married the girl next door and they were married for over 70 years), Shirley Hamilton; his children Ken Hamilton, and Susan Galligan; grandchildren Lee, Dawn, Jennifer, Melody, Michael, Katie, and Hope. He also had 10 Great Grandchildren.

Bill has always been very active since his youth.  He made first string his freshman year in High School in Football ad Basketball.  In his first 3 months of the US Army he was already an E-5 Sergeant!! He moved to Lorain, Ohio in 1948 after his time to post war Germany, and started working at United States Steel, and US Army Reserve until 1970.  He was an elder at First Presbyterian Church.  He was an Asst. Senior Boy Scout Leader of Troop 301.  He loved to RV Camp, and having camped at over three fourths of the states.  Bill also was a proud blood donor for decades.  He was a great man helping out relatives and older neighbors by raking leaves, cutting grass, shoveling snow, etc.  He was always there for his family and will be deeply missed.

Family has invited everyone to join them after the service on Thursday 8/25 at the Golden Corral 815 Providence Rd. Brandon 33511 at 2pm.
