Griffith, William (Bill) G. 71, of Apollo Beach and formerly Temple Terrace passed away on October 13, 2012 at home after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 14, 1941 in West Branch, Michigan to the late William and Hulda (Nelson) Griffith. He had a passion for boating on the open waters. Bill moved to Tampa in 1979 and for over 30 years owned and operated Business Interiors of Tampa Bay. He was a devoted husband to his wife Betty (Baas) Griffith; and a loving father to his son Brett (Kim) and grandsons Nicholas and Alex Griffith. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Rodney, and John; and two sisters, Alfia, and Rita. A Life Celebration will take place at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at 3pm. A visitation will be from 2pm to the start of the service. Burial will be at a later date.
