William "Pop" Goode 86 of Valrico, Florida passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 under the care of Hospice.  He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Bloomingdale and retired as a General Contractor.  He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  Survivors include his wife Nancy of 58 years; daughter Sarah (Bill) Holwager, daughter Karen Laird, and Rebecca (Robert) Nicholas; son Brian (Irene) Goode; eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.  He is predeceased by his parents Karl and Mary, brother Harold, and a sister Ruth.  Services entrusted to Serenity Meadows Funeral Home
