Chafens, William R., 67, of Lithia, passed away on May 21, 2014.

William was born in Ironton, OH to the late Charles and Vine Ella Chafens. During the course of his life, William became an accomplished singer and musician, he also proudly served in the US Air Force. William was a Park Ranger at Lithia Springs Regional Park.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Roger Chafens and Clarence Chafens. William is survived by his loving family, wife of 31 years, Angela; daughter, Stephanie; siblings, Carolyn Pezzullo, Gary Chafens and Gene Chafens; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Makenzie and Alexander; nephew, Shannon; and an extended loving family.

There will be a memorial gathering on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home.
