Beers, William A., 90, of Riverview, Fl. passed away on March 22, 2015. He was born on July 31, 1924 in Easton, Pennsylvania to the late William J. and Dorothy Beers. William served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army in India. He was an active musician; he loved to play the keyboard. He was a former Commander of the VFW Lopatcong Memorial Post 8650 Lopatcong, N. J.; also he was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Bloomingdale, Brandon, Fl. William is survived by his sons; William E. (Carol), Daniel C. (Cathy), and Christopher J. (Yvonne), 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, sister Dorothy Young. William was preceded in death by his wife Christine in 2009, and a daughter Ruthanne. A Funeral service will take place on Thursday March 26, 2015 at 11am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive guests one hour prior.
