Wesley A. Cleaves, 57, of Brandon, Florida, passed away from a heart attack on Monday morning, October 15, 2018.

Wesley was born in Fort Myers, Florida, to Wesley R. and Barbara Cleaves on October 19, 1960. He attended Riverdale High School in East Fort Myers. He married Jill Gaylord on March 6, 1993, at the Burroughs Home in Fort Myers, Florida.

Wesley is survived by his wife, Jill, his sons, Beau and Chase, and his aunt, Elsie Cleaves Woodward.

Visitation with the family will be held at 10:00 a.m. on October 20, 2018 , followed by a short memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park in Riverview, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wesley's name to Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center, in honor of his rescue kitty, Ellie.
