Wayne D. Dassele, 74, of Brandon, FL, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at his residence.  Born on October 15, 1946 in Baltimore, MD to the proud parents of Samuel R & Genevieve (Headley) Dassele, Wayne retired from Mosaic Phosphate Company after 25 years of service.  He moved to the area in 1970 from Baltimore, MD and grew up in the Lutheran faith.  Wayne was a Vietnam U.S. Army Veteran, where he attained the level of expert rifle marksman.  He loved to ride his Triumph motorcycle and both make and remake classic cars.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Betty; his daughter, Tammy Hahn and his son, Jack (Kate) Frederick; his brother, Leroy (Barbara) Dassele and his two grandchildren: Chelsy Hahn and Lydia Frederick.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 1:30PM on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project, c/o www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
