Wanda R Burt, 90, of Riverview, passed away on January 29, 2025 in Sun City Center, FL.

Wanda Ruth Sumner West Burt was born in Tifton, GA on July 13, 1934. She went to school in Wimauma, FL. She married David Burt Sr. on December 28,1991 in Gibsonton, FL. She worked as a supervisor for Merchants Association for most of her life. She was a Navy veteran who served in the Korean War. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Wanda is preceded in death by Harvey Sumner.

Wanda is survived by her husband, David Burt Sr.; daughters- Jill McCamis, Eme Shumock, and Susan Bistolfi; sons- Fred West Jr. and Randy West; stepsons- David Burt Jr, Joseph Burt, and William Burt. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at Serenity Meadows 6919 Providence Rd, Riverview FL 33578 on Wednesday February 12th at 11am.

Funeral service will start at 12pm followed by a graveside service with military honors being rendered by the Navy. Reverend Jimmey Sumner will be officiating services.
