We are heartbroken to announce that Vivian (Garrett) Singletary has kept her appointment with God and is now communing with her heavenly family. She understood that every person is dated and was sure to ask "is your soul good with God?". Her soul was well with God and she was prepared to transition.

The youngest and last surviving child of William Fayette and Maymie (Tapscott) Garrett, Vivian was born October 26, 1941 in Cincinnati Ohio but spent most of her youth in Florida. She courted Sherman Roy Singletary and after her graduation from Ft. Myers High School they married December 24, 1959 embarking on a life long journey of military service and dedication to family.

Vivian is survived by her son Gregory Singletary (Janet), daughter's Ginger Singletary (Chad Piester), Lisa French, Lori Riner (Frank), 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Bettie Weeks (Robert) and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to Vivian's parents and husband, Vivian was predeceased by her brother James Henry Garrett (Dorothy); sisters Hazel W. Garrett, Margaret Catherine Davis (Raymond), Deva Morine Bodenstein (John); parents-in-law Robert Lee and Inez (Davis) Singletary and son-in-law Michael Leslie French.

Vivian's Celebration of Life and funeral services will begin at 12pm on December 20, 2022 at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park Funeral Home located at 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL 33578.
