Barkley, Vincent H. 66, of Lithia, FL, loving husband of Karen W. Barkley went to be with the Lord July 29, 2010. He was born December 29, 1943 in High Coal, WV. He relocated here from Herndon, VA in 2005. He was a computer analyst for A.T.&T. Communications retiring in 2004. He enjoyed and loved working and helping people, anywhere he felt needed; he never met a stranger only made new friends along his way.

His hobbies included working with computers, computer technology and music systems for his home and volunteering as tech support at Bell Shoals Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Dewey, Fred and Eddie.

Survivors include wife of 44 years, Karen W. Barkley of Lithia, FL, a daughter, Kimberly (M.Thomas) Balchandani of Orange Park, FL, a son, Sean "Christopher" (Kimberly) Barkley of Methuen, MA, a sister, Janet Nichols of Phoenix, AZ, a brother, Marlin (Valerie) Barkley of Phoenix, AZ, and six grandchildren. Family will receive friends August 4th from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Bell Shoals Baptist Church where a Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at Sarasota National Cemetery.
