Victorene Bates, 91, artist and sculptor, died Monday, May 17 in Riverview, Florida. She was a lifelong Indiana resident and a long-time member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Whitestown, along with many Central Indiana art associations. She is survived by her children Judith Sexton (Jay), Robert T. Bates (Maribel), Bonnie England (Daryl), and Darcy Hubbard. In addition, she was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She will be laid to rest in Serenity Meadows in Riverview, Florida.
