Lombardi, Vera Grant, our beautiful and loving mother passed away in Riverview, Florida at the age of 93 on September 7, 2017. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia at Vancouver General Hospital on October 17, 1923 to Margaret and William Hardie, our mom was the 5th oldest of seven children. She married our dad, Marcel Roland Temoin in 1943 and moved to San Jose, California in 1955 after living 10 years in Ocean Falls, British Columbia. After our dad passed away in 1973, mom eventually remarried in 1979 to Fred Lombardi and they happily resided in The Villages in San Jose for many years. Following Fred's death in 1995, mom moved to Valrico, Florida to live with her son and daughter-in-law, Kerry and Flora Temoin where she was tenderly cared for until her passing. Mom will ever be remembered by all who knew her for her generosity and kindness and for her quiet beauty, inside and out. Ever youthful and glamorous, mom had a great sense of style and even into her 90's would turn heads wherever she went. In addition to her son, Kerry Temoin, she is survived by her eldest son, David Temoin of San Jose, California, daughter, Rebecca Wall of San Diego California, and her sister Eleanor Thompson of Chase, British Columbia. She was greatly loved by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her legacy of love and caring will be present in all those she has touched.
