Trey Curry went to a better place on March 1, 2008.
Trey was very proud to be Clifton Conrad Curry III
because of his love and admiration for his grandfather, Dad and family.
In the short twenty years Trey was with us, he made many friends and helped many
people get through difficult times. Trey was a young man who had a great
enjoyment for life and loved the people that crossed his path. Many say he never
met a person he didn't like. That feeling was returned in kind, everyone loved Trey.
He will be remembered throughout eternity for his consideration for others and acts of
kindness but most of all for the "Bear Hugs" he gave all his close friends and family when
greeting them. While some may live for many years without learning from life's
experiences, Trey learned each day from the simple joys and responsibilities, sharing with others and was a great teacher. An inspiration to all who knew him, his memory
will be evidence of God's continuing blessing.
He is survived by his parents Terry and Clif,
His brother and sister, Colton and Mary Beth,
his grandparents, Clif and Louise Curry, and Betty Cox,
his aunt and uncles, Carole and Steve Jenkins and
Douglas Cox, his cousins, Laura and Stephen Jenkins,
Chiffon Bogue and Carl Cox and several great aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, M. Doug Cox.
Trey attended Hillsborough Community College and
Tallahassee Community College, graduated in 2006 from
Newsome High School, graduated in 2002 from his Mom's
school, Brandon Academy. Trey was a true Seminole
attending FSU games since he was very young. He played
golf with Coach Bobby Bowden and went to most FSU home
games with his family. He was a member of the Tampa
Catholic High School JV Football team as a freshman
and played for the Varsity team as a freshman.
He played baseball at South Brandon Little League for
many seasons. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved fishing, hunting,
snow skiing and golfing with his friends and family.
