Harris, Tommy Wardlaw, 69, of San Antonio, Florida passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Born in Zephyrhills, Tommy had been a life long resident. He attended Cross Point Church of the Nazarene; he served in the United States Army and recently retired as a Senior Project Accountant from the Shaw Group. Tommy enjoyed golf, was an avid football fan, a Civil War enthusiast and a collector of rare coins. Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Rosalie "Patsy"; son, Jason Allen (Melodie) Hanchey; daughter, Donnell Jean Hanchey; brothers, Ray (Rachel) Harris; Larry (Audrey Louise) Harris; Dennis Harris; sisters, Audrey Harris-Owens; Lois Williams, grandchildren, Khaniya Brizae Hanchey; Khavarion Lee Sims and Henry Lawson Hanchey. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Benjamin and Ethel Leota (nee O'Steen) Harris; brothers, David Harris; Jerry Harris, and sister, Jewell Opp Thompson. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene, 919 Debuel Rd., Lutz, Florida 33549 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow at Townsend House Cemetery in Dade City.
