Griffin, Timothy L.

It is with great sorrow that I announce the passing of my loving husband, Tim Griffin, who left us too soon.  He was born in Baton Rouge, LA to Mildred and Henry Lawson Griffin.  Tim and Debbie met in Blueridge August 23 ^rd , 2013 and settled in Valrico, FL to continue their love story.  He was the Operations Manager of BRSR and certified Train Conductor; and also worked at TECO.  Tim was loved by everyone he met and leaves behind his loving wife, Debbie and treasured friends & family.  Tim's interest included riding his Harley with friends of our local OTC chapter where he enjoyed being a Road Captain and a brother to so many.  He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking and loved the Key West Sunset & Sail trips.  Tim loved to travel and we recently got back from a beautiful trip to Alaska.  We took a train across the Klondike and a helicopter ride on a glacier – breathtaking.

Tim enjoyed the puppy visits from Southeastern Guide Dogs and helped raise funds to provide a guide dog to our military heroes.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to SEGD Paws for Patriots fund @ www.guidedogs.org.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, Riverview, FL with the family gathering with friends one hour prior to memorial service from 10:00-11:00am
