Straigis, Thomas, 92, was reunited with his beloved wife, Edythe, and son, Matt, on March 28, 2018. Thomas was a proud US Merchant Marine Veteran and saw all theaters of action in WWII. He sailed on many classes of ships including the SS American Victory docked at Channelside. Thomas retired from Tampa Ship Repair and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Thomas is survived by his loving family and friends. There will be a graveside service on Monday April 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
