Obituary

Thomas O'Hare passed away Saturday May 20, 2018.  He is survived by his son, Kevin and daughter Megan.  He is also survived by his three sisters: Patricia, Suzanne and Eileen and brother, Gerald.  Born in Philadelphia to Margaret O'Hare (nee Wall) and John O'Hare, He was 52 years old.

Tom attended North Penn High School and had success on the wrestling team and spent summers at the Jersey shore.  He attended the University of Tampa and graduated with a degree in Television and Radio.  He held an internship on sports radio and TV for Fox 13.  Tom's career path emerged with his talent of connecting with people, an easy manner and quick smile for everyone he met.  He held numerous sales positions throughout his career ranging from regional to international sales. In 1997 he returned to Tampa after the birth of his two children Kevin & Megan O'Hare.

During his life, he was an avid golfer and often traveled with his golf clubs and never turned down a chance to play. His bucket list included attending the Masters, which he was fortunate to have done this past spring. He was the proud owner of a Pitbull named Rocky. You could typically find him on a phone call walking his dog in the Valrico area.

Thomas was a family man at heart. He loved his children and was immensely proud of his daughter Megan and son Kevin. He always encouraged them to go the distance, and invited all around him to dream big. His laughter and love was often contagious, and we thank him for that. We cherish him for the memories and all the love he gave us, and embrace the day that we will be reunited with him again.
