Mr. Thomas (Tom) Noethiger died peacefully at his home August 10, 2024 in Valrico Fl., at the age of 73.

Tom is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Barb, of Valrico; his sister, Patricia (Karl) Preuss of Menomonee Falls WI. and his sister Nancy (Patrick) Malone of Sugar Land TX and several nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Thomas F. and RoseMarie Noethiger of Sarasota FL.

Tom was born on May 20, 1951, in Teaneck, NJ., to Thomas F. and RoseMarie Noethiger. He was a graduate of Plum High school, in 1969. He graduated from Penn state University in 1973 with a bachelor of science degree. He worked in the computer programming area of Servistar for many years in East Butler, PA. In 1998 he and Barb moved to Valrico, Fl., Tom worked at Citi in Tampa for many years, retiring as a Senior VP of Global Production Assurance.

Tom was an accomplished bass player, and played for six years with Classix, a local classic rock band. He enjoyed playing tennis, ping pong, and pickleball, as well as riding his bike. Tom loved sports and would spend many nights watching them on TV with Barb. He loved cats and dogs and they loved him right back. He was a lifelong blood donor and donated gallons of blood through the years. Tom was also very active in his neighborhood association, assisting with many projects throughout the years.

A funeral is scheduled for Friday August 16, 2024 at Serenity Meadows with a service held by Pastor Hal.
