LEACH, Thomas E. "Tom", 75 of Lithia, Fla. entered into his eternal rest, Sunday, February 24, 2008. He was a bay area resident from 1955 originally from Brent, Alabama. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Winnie Leach from Brent, AL. and brother, Winifred Leach from Dallas, Texas. He has a surviving sister, Mary Milstead of Centreville, AL. He also is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Selma; son, Thomas Jr. (Letisha) of Atlanta GA; daughter, Sheri Springer (Daniel); his 5 grandchildren, who all knew him as "Papa", Lauren, Victoria, and Julia Leach, of Atlanta, GA, and Steven and Madison Springer. He served Honorably 4 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired from GTE Telephone Company after 34 years of dedicated service as a senior engineer. A memorial gathering will be held from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Fish Hawk Trails subdivision in Lithia, Florida.
