Obituary

Thomas Ray Larson - a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather,
and friend to all who knew him - lived a life well worth remembering. He
was passionate about his walk with God and service to his community.
On August 15, 2023, Tom left peacefully for his heavenly home, at the age
of 66. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary, his devoted sister Diane
Campos, his four children, Melissa and Josh Cosby, Sarah and DeWayne
Collins, Rae and Joel Varela, and Thomas Jr. and Hannah Larson, and his
eleven grandchildren, Ethan, Ryan, Hanah, Carol, Cayden, Benjamin, Joel,
Eleanor, Cora, Hunter, and Aurora. Missing him as well, are his many
adopted families, extended families, nieces and nephews, and close
friends. Tom and Mary were married for 45 years and made their home in
Georgia, Michigan, and Florida.

He served his country with the United States Army, and National Guard, as
well as his community as a Sergeant with the Hillsborough County Sheriff
Department. His service will be remembered for years to come. He
generously affected all that knew him, and his natural story telling made us

all smile. As a devoted husband, father, and papa, he always put his
family first and his life second. He attended Reach City Church, in
Riverview, FL, for 38 years, in pursuit of God's plan for his life.
Tom bravely fought a three year battle with cancer always believing he was
given the gift of time - the cancer did not win. He will leave an echo
forever, in the pieces of the legacy he left.

Join us for a celebration of life at his memorial service, which will be held
at Reach City Church, 6605 Krycul Ave., Riverview, FL 33569, at 3 pm on
August 26, 2023. In lieu of flowers we ask that you make a donation to
Moffitt Cancer Center, or The Trisomy 18 Foundation in Tom's name.
