Thomas Lowe Gillispie passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 31 2023.

Thomas was born in Charleston, West Virginia on December 16 1946.

A proud 26 year veteran of the United States Air Force attaining the rank of SMSgt. He was a leader and mentor to many.

When asked, his coworkers, family and friends describe him as, "a friend, comrade, compatriot, aviator, leader, gentleman, hero, father, husband, educator, hombre, tactician, mentor, altruistic, honorable, and a genuinely good person."

The love of Tom's life was his family. His wife Ayako and sons Jimmy, Chris, Alex and Josh.

We are all richer for knowing him and poorer for his loss.
