Donegan, Thomas Michael, Sr., 72, of Brandon, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011. Mr. Donegan had been a local resident since 1972 after moving here from New York. A veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Donegan was a member of The River of Tampa Bay Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening and taking nature walks. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Catherine, sons; Matthew (Laura) Donegan , Thomas (Kelly) Donegan, daughter; Ellen Donegan, brothers; John (Barbara) Donegan, William Donegan, sisters; Maureen Feeney, Judy Riola, Margaret (Barry) Whelan and his four grandchildren; Jordan, Connor, Owen and Finn. The family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, Florida 33578.
