Thomas Carswell, 67, of Riverview passed away on Friday, January 29, 2010. Born in Alabama he had been a local resident for over fifty years. A US Army veteran, Mr. Carswell was a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed his family and NASCAR.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Judith, sons; Robert, Thomas Shawn, brothers; Donald Ray, Hubert (Deborah), Terry, Randy (Heidi), sisters; Elaine (Johnny) Rickerson and Teresa (Richard) Miller. His brother Earl preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home on Monday, February 2, 2010 from 3 to 4 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
