Ackerman Thomas A. 83, passed away Wednesday July 25,2018 at his home in Valrico Florida. He is survived by his loving and devoted family: wife Norma, and his children, Theresa (Alan)Kemp, Kathi (Ernie) Donini, Anthony (Lora) Ackerman, Jim(Vicki) Ackerman: grandchildren, Alexa(Jarrod), Daulton, Sydney, Leighanna, Justin, Jake. He honorably served in the US Navy. Then retired from Rich Sea-Pak after 45 years of employment. Thomas was a member of Nativity Catholic Church where he and his wife recently received the St. Jude medal for their countless hours of volunteerism. He was a member of Buckhorn Springs CC and was an avid golfer. But most of all he was a loving and supportive grandfather who actively participated in his grandchildren's lives. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 10:30 am at Nativity Catholic Church.
