Weaver, Thelma Jean "TJ", 78, of Brandon, passed away on May 9, 2009. TJ was born in Monticello, FL. She was very active in the Brandon community and was a member of the Brandon Women's Service League, active in the Brandon Community Roundtable, a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Brandon Post 4340, the past president of the Garden Club and a past recipient of the Alice B. Tompkins Award. TJ is survived by her loving family, husband of 32 years, Richard; six children; four sisters; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 10:00 am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. TJ will be interred at Florida National Cemetery.
