Knowles, Thad C., 88, passed away on February 8, 2013. Thad was a lifelong resident of the Brandon area, who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norene Elizabeth Knowles and daughter, Judy Carol Knowles-Leasure. Thad is survived by his loving family, children, Robin (Lorna) Knowles, Mindy Knowles and Calvin Knowles; and grandchildren, Tyler Knowles, Matthew Knowles, Jamie Flens and Katie Flens. There will be a visitation on Monday, February 11, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Providence Cemetery.
