Tessa Ann Bruner, age 8, passed away at her home surrounded by her family, on September 22nd, 2023, after a courageous battle with Batten Disease.

Tessa was born on September 5, 2015 to Sean and Trista Bruner. Her beautiful blue eyes and her infectious smile lit up any room she was in.

Tessa was loving, silly, affectionate, selfless, and most of all strong. She loved to swim, going to the park to slide which she always referred to as "whee". She was an adrenaline junkie and she loved rollercoasters. She loved going to the zoo and the aquarium. When she couldn't be outside she loved playing with her kitchen and making everyone something to eat. She always took care of all of her baby dolls. She loved Peppa Pig and had so many Peppa toys. Even after she lost her sight, she loved listening to Peppa Pig on her tablet. Her laugh, kisses and hugs were the best and will always be missed. Tessa touched so many lives near and far in her short time with us. She will be missed tremendously.

Tessa is survived by her parents, Sean and Trista, her brother Colten and her sister Olivia. Grandparents Ron and Lisa Stephens, Bill and Debra Rubel, and Mike and Cindy Bruner. Aunts and Uncles, Johnny and Michelle Whiteman and James and Mychaela Kekeris. Cousins Aiden and Haleigh Whiteman and Thomas Kekeris.

Tessa is preceded in death by Great Grandparents, William and Audrey Fisse, Sally Vancourt, Wanda Cooprider, Thomas Kehrer, Robert Bruner, Merle Stephens.

A memorial service will be held on October 6th , 2023 from 6PM – 8PM at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park Funeral Home in Riverview, Florida.
