Obituary

Terri Lynn Faerber, 69, of Riverview, FL, passed away on January 20, 2026 peacefully at home, surrounded by family. She was born on April 10, 1956 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Henry Clonts and Eleanor (Dolly) Giolito.
Terri grew up in Pocasset MA and was a majorette in high school. Terri earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at the University of Maine, Orono, and her Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Nova University. She married her childhood sweetheart, Robert (Bob) Faerber, in Honolulu on December 19, 1973.
Terri and Bob later moved to Florida, and Terri worked in the Hillsborough County school system for 24 years as a lead teacher, reading specialist, assistant principal and retired as a principal from Corr Elementary. During this time, she was selected as teacher of the year and made a lasting impact on teachers, students, and parents throughout her career. After retiring, she continued by mentoring new teachers in the ACP Professional Learning program and worked at the Tampa Cruise Terminal.
Terri was passionate about family; she loved nothing more than spending time with her husband, children, grandchild, and extended family. She enjoyed Disney, wine, dancing to live music and traveling. Her favorite quote was 'Live the Magic'. She was generous, empathetic, and loving to everyone. Her compassion for people and animals was so genuine, and everyone cherished her for it. She loved meeting new people and was full of life.
Terri is survived by her husband, Bob Faerber, children, Rob Faerber Jr., Lani (Pasit) Khounvixay, sister, Merilee Waters, and grandson, Dallas Khounvixay. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob's parents, Frank and Pat Faerber, and daughter-in-law, Shannon Faerber.
The family is forever grateful to their extended family, friends, and her coworkers for all their support during this time. As an alternative to flowers, donations can be made to Moffitt Cancer Center in Terri's name.
