ARRINGTON, TAYLOR RENEE, 12, was called home to
join the angels in heaven
on April 22, 2007 after a courageous battle with
cancer for the past 3-1/2 years.
Taylor was born October 28, 1994 in
Tulsa, OK to Cary and Mary Kay (Rourke) Arrington.
Taylor enjoyed cooking, bowling, playing
miniature golf, swimming,
dancing, singing, movies, books, taking pictures
and ordering everyone around.
Taylor was a huge fan of the
Tampa Bay Lightning
and she loved going to the games with her family.
Taylor loved being with her two dogs, Mollie and Roxy and her cat, Tinkerbell.
Taylor loved to cook meals for her family and especially loved attending cooking classes, as she wanted to be a chef when she grew up.
Taylor loved going to school and she continued to make the honor roll at Randall Middle School through her battle.
Taylor loved to go to church and was attending a
confirmation class up until her last days.
Taylor loved to work the nursery at church and loved little children.
Taylor loved to go out to eat and dress up.
Taylor loved life and lived each day to the fullest. Taylor made sure we all spent lots of quality
time together and loved going to Gatorland,
Discovery Cove and Disney.
Taylor loved like no one else loved.
She loved everyone unconditionally and touched hundreds of thousands of people
worldwide through her courageous battle.
Taylor was one of the most beautiful, determined spirits we have ever seen.
She was a little firecracker who refused to give up on
anything and had no limitations.
She taught us all to love more, laugh outloud, never
give up no matter what, hope against all hope
and experience faith beyond comprehension.
Most of all, Taylor loved her
identical twin sister Jordan, who she has
embraced her soul with
and they will eternally be together forever.
Our family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at
St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Fl for all their loving care and
compassion. We will miss them as they were also a part of our
family. We would also like to thank the Children's Cancer Center and
the Pediatric Cancer Foundation for all their support and love
throughout the years.
She is survived by her loving family, her
