Sawicki, Tamela Lynn, 52, of Valrico, passed away on June 1, 2013. Tamela was born in Wausau, WI on October 12, 1960 to Thomas and Janet Jehn. She graduated from Western High School in Spring Arbor, MI and married Craig Sawicki on August 21, 1982 in Jackson, MI. She worked at Suarez Housing for 23 years, where she was salesperson of the year several times; currently she worked for Keller Williams Realty. Tamela enjoyed working with first time home buyers and enjoyed selling real estate. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon and previously served as a school board member for Immanuel Lutheran School. She was also a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Lithia. Tamela had many passions, she enjoyed running and was able to participate in the Gasparilla Marathon, she also loved to view the sunset from Indian Rocks Beach, but her greatest passion was her family, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. She is preceded in death by her sister, Debra Ann Kuntz. Tamela is survived by her loving family, husband, Craig Sawicki; daughters, Janelle (Jonathan) Miller and Jessica Sawicki; grandchild, Selah Miller; parents, Thomas and Janet Jehn; brother, Greg (Ann-Marie) Jehn; nephews, Joshua and Jason Kuntz; as well as her extended family and many friends. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The funeral service for Tamela is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 6:00 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran School or to Lamb of God Preschool.
