Suzanne Brown Marek passed away peacefully at the LifePath Hospice House in Sun City Center, FL on January 2, 2023 at the age of 86 years from complications of
dementia. She was born in Richmond, Virginia on February 6, 1936 to Walter and Mary Brown. She married Thomas Edward Marek in 1957. The couple moved to New
Smyrna Beach, Florida, and after her husband's death in 1994, Suzanne later moved to Riverview, Florida to be near her daughters and son-in-law, Mary Beth and Tony
Russo and Jeannine Marek Mallory. She also leaves behind her two granddaughters, Robin and Christine Russo. An avid scuba diver and devoted animal lover, Suzanne
was also an active member of the Oceanside Woman's Club in New Smyrna Beach, the TAG art group in New Smyrna Beach, an original member of the New Smyrna
Beach Images Festival of the Arts Committee, and a member of the Riverview Garden Club and the Tampa Bay Fossil Club. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas
Edward Marek, and her brother, Walter Brown.

A private ceremony is planned. In lieu of flowers, the family would respectfully request donations to LifePath Hospice in Sun City Center, Florida or a private animal rescue organization of your choice.
