Susan Marie (White) Martin of Riverview FL died unexpectedly on Sunday November 17, 2013. Born and raised in Skowhegan Maine, Susan relocated to the Tampa area in 1979. She is predeceased by her parents Francis and Mildred (Jones) White. She is survived by her siblings: David (and Mary Ellen) White of Portland ME, John (and Janet) White of Waterville ME, Ken (and Deborah) White of Dresden ME, Dorothy (and Stephen) Prigodich of Berlin CT, Gwenda (and Michael) Scott of Lafayette NJ; as well as nine nieces and nephews, six grandnephews, other relatives and numerous friends. Per her wishes Susan will be cremated, and her ashes will be divided between her families plot in Skowhegan and the cemetery in her beloved Key West FL. Throughout the years Susan has been involved in numerous groups, civic organizations and charitable causes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Tampa; to be included with the monies raised during the 2014 Music On The Bay Festival, a fundraiser hosted by the TBPHC for which Susan was an avid volunteer. Funeral services will take place on Friday November 22, 2013 at 12pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive guests from 10 am to the start of the service. A celebration of life to be held in Skowhegan at a later date.
