Evans, Steven W. passed away on May 29, 2009 leaving his beloved wife, Evelyn, of 60 years along with two daughters, Susan and Nancy, and four grandchildren. Steven was a graduate of MIT, there he received his Engineering Degrees and Harvard University where he received his Business Administration Degree. He was a brilliant engineer. He was also an avid sailor. He loved to sail his Tanza on Lake Champlain. He worked for the giants of industry: GE, Westinghouse, Sylvania and ITT. ITT sent him and his family to Europe for ten years where he was able to use the five languages that he spoke fluently. He also enjoyed teaching and managed to teach engineering at the University of Vermont while working for Digital Equipment. Funeral services will be private.
