Martin, Jr., Stanley J., 68, of Brandon, peacefully passed away at home on April 2, 2017. He was born and raised in New Jersey but resided in Brandon, FL for 43 years. Stanley graduated with an electrical engineering degree from Rutgers University in 1971 and enjoyed a distinguished career with the Tampa Electric Company where he ultimately managed the Big Bend power plant in Apollo Beach. Stanley had a creative mind and was an avid sportsman and world traveler. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Adrienne, son, Christopher (Stephanie), grandsons, Connor and Riley, sister, Helen Sowa (Michael), and sister, Dorothy Teringer. Stanley is predeceased by his son, Brian, and sister, Nancy Matthews. On Saturday, April 8, 2017, there will be a visitation at 10:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM memorial service at Serenity Meadows in Riverview.
