Silva Basaraba, 77, of Riverview, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in the Ukraine, Silva dedicated her life to nurturing and educating children. Her passion for teaching touched the lives of countless students, and her warmth, wisdom, and patience made her a beloved mentor, colleague, and friend. She was not only an exceptional educator but also a devoted wife, caring mother, and cherished grandmother.

Silva's legacy lives on in the hearts of her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Ivan; her sons, Oleksandr and Roman; her step-daughters, Natalia and Marianna; and her adored grandchildren, Oleksandr, Bogdan, Sviatoslav, and Roy.

Her compassion, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
