Shirley Louise Wilbanks, 68, of Brandon, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Macon, GA. , Mrs. Wilbanks was a Brandon resident since 1976 coming here from Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of Limona Village Chapel United Methodist Church where she was very active with "Meals On Wheels" and also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.





Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Willie Carl Wilbanks, sons; Carl (Jill), Scott (Laura), brother; Larry Rodgers (Anna) and five grandchildren; Brittany, Brooke, Brandi, Lucas and Autumn.



The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 13, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at Limona Village Chapel United Methodist Church on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.



Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
