Sheila Lorraine "Mickey" Nielsen, born on September 13, 1960, at Hill Air Force Base, peacefully passed away on March 10, 2024, in Valrico, Florida, at the age of 63. Known to many as "Mickey," she was a beloved mother and friend. Sheila's kind, giving, creative, and charismatic nature left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Sheila pursued a career in Interior Design & architecture, showcasing her passion for creativity and aesthetics. Beyond her professional endeavors, she found joy in crafting, baking, cross-stitching, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family. As her girls grew up, Sheila spent many dutiful hours helping with the Brandon Bears cheerleaders, and the Burns and Bloomingdale Music Programs.

Sheila is survived by her daughters Angela Conser, Alicia Nielsen, Malissa Jesso, and son-in-law Patrick Jesso.

She is also survived by  her sister Gwen Robbins, and nephews Bryan and Nick Robbins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Nielsen and her parents Clifton and Eva Jernigan.

Services to honor and celebrate Sheila's life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Serenity Meadows in Riverview, Florida.

The visitation will begin at 12:00 pm, followed by a service at 1:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to join in
remembering and honoring Sheila at this time of reflection and fond remembrance. She will be remembered as a great friend to many.
