Sheila Chunn of Valrico, Florida

Sheila Chunn, age 65, passed away peacefully at home on January 19, 2018. She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Bob; her loving children, Christopher and Kasey Chunn, and daughters-in-law, Rachel Peterson Chunn and Ashley Meares Chunn, and her beloved grandchildren, Lukas, Hannah, and Logan Chunn.

Sheila graduated as a Radiographer, from Central Virginia Community College (Lynchburg, VA) in 1972, and as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, from Hillsborough Community College (Tampa, FL) in 1989. She worked in diagnostic medical imaging for over 45 years.

Sheila was a talented quilter, and joyfully made beautiful quilts for her family and friends. She was an avid reader, and loved to cook for her family.

Sheila was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was the most meaningful and precious component of her life. She never failed to acknowledge birthdays, graduations and anniversaries, and to celebrate every memorable moment. She was happiest when she was with her family, whether in the pool, at the beach, on vacation, or just sitting around the kitchen table. She rejoiced in every family photograph, every card and every conversation.

We will miss her bright brown eyes, her radiant smile, her joyous laughter, her hugs and kisses, and her ever present sense of humor.

Sheila and Bob are devoted members of Bell Shoals Baptist Church.  A celebration of life will be conducted on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 3:00PM, in the Chapel of Bell Shoals Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations to -
