Sean Paul
Songer
July 22, 1970 — October 20, 2021
Sean Paul Songer, of Seffner, Florida was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 22, 1970. He passed away comforted by his family on October 20, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Helen (nee Brantley), his son, Blaine, and daughter, Emily. His parents, Lanny and Gale Songer, sister, Cheryl Crawford, nephew, Tristan Crawford, and brothers-in-law Brian Brantley and Stephen (Jennifer) Brantley, also survive him. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Karen McLamb, father-in-law Richard Brantley III and brother-in-law, Phillip Crawford.
Sean worked as a commercial refrigeration installer prior to opening his own business, Karport Kustoms in 2009. He specialized in repair, service, fabrication and customization. His workmanship was always top-notch and he received many accolades and awards over the years.
No matter what obstacles he faced, they never stopped his zest for life nor could silence his contagious laugh. When you were with him, he was the life of the party and the minute you left him, you wanted to go back for more. He never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone. He always found the craziest things to joke about and everyone was subject to his pranks. This "larger than life" guy was loved by so many and taught us all how to live life to the fullest.
Motorcycles were his passion and his biker friends were family. He also enjoyed camping, going to bike festivals, rock concerts, and car shows. Sean loved animals and his dogs Lucy and Monkey were always by his side. He also loved kids; did teddy bear rides and loved to shop for the Toys for Tots charity every Christmas.
There will be a Memorial ride in his honor followed by a Celebration of life on Sunday, November 14th. Ride starts at Fox and Hound at 10 am. We ask everyone to bring an unwrapped toy to be donated in Sean's name to the Toys for Tots charity.
