Sean Sellards passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on January 7, 2026, leaving this world to grow his angel wings. He is now reunited with his beloved first wife, Jo; his brother, Danny; his stepdad Kenneth; his father-in-law Tony; and his parents, Claudette and Greg.
Sean is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Sellards; his children, Brandon, Savannah, and Chase; his beloved mother- and father-in-law, Vicky and Manny; his soul sister Jessica, his niece, Taylor; his sister, Kim; his pets Dakoda, Bailey and Brody; along with many extended family members and friends who loved him deeply.
Sean was born in Arizona. He entered the world as a curious and determined baby—one who loved to take things apart just to understand how they worked and, most impressively, put them back together again. That early curiosity became a lifelong gift, ultimately leading him to a career as a talented and trusted general contractor. Sean had a rare ability to take a vision or a simple conversation and turn it into something real and lasting. One of the most wonderful parts of Sean was that he so generously shared this and other gifts with those he loved.
On November 22, 2008, Sean married his first love, JoJo. Sean and JoJo celebrated life through their love of football by supporting The Arizona Cardinals, going to their favorite restaurants, and spending quality time with friends. Above all, Sean was a devoted and selfless caretaker to JoJo as she bravely fought multiple sclerosis and later cancer. He stood by her with unwavering love and support until she gained her angel wings on August 9, 2018.
Sean later found his second love and true soulmate, Michelle, with whom he built a beautiful life. Together with Michelle and her children, Savannah and Chase, Sean and his son Brandon, moved to Florida, where they built not just a home, but a life full of love, laughter, and purpose. Sean adored being a father and loved all three of his children with his whole heart. He cherished time spent playing, laughing, and simply being present with them.
In Arizona, Sean had many passions which included country music; big trucks; bowling; The Arizona Cardinals, spending time outdoors shooting; hunting; and camping with his family and special friends. Sean was blessed to have a loving family and ride or die friends like Mike and Chantell; Damon and Krystal; Geno and Raelyn; Dwayne Perez; Peggy and Andy; Kelli and Victor; Kurt and Nickole; Tim and Tiffany; Cheyanne and Levi; Bill and Lynn; Kelli and Chip; Deb and Mike; and Cathy and Scott who helped him live life to the fullest.
Sean's infectious sense of humor, unmistakable laugh and countless funny memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Though he's no longer with us, Sean lives on—in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, the work he created, and the love he gave so freely.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
