Scott A. Schneider, 39, of Lithia, FL arrived at the biggest skateboard park in the sky on June 28, 2018 after a 14-year, long hard battle with brain cancer. Scott was born in Noank, CT and attended Fitch High School and Cordon Blue Culinary Institute in Orlando, Fl. He was a Sous Chef at the Flood Tide Restaurant and worked at S & P Oyster House in Mystic. Besides his love of cooking, he was an avid skateboarder, pool player, fisherman, and could capture nature at its best with his camera. His friends meant everything to him. He was always cheerful and willing to lend a hand to whoever needed help. He always looked at life on the positive side while battling this terrible disease. There will be a private service at Serenity Meadows, Riverview and a memorial service in Mystic, CT date to be determined. He leaves behind his mother, Denise Silva; his step-father, Jack Silva; brother, Derek Schneider; his two dogs, and parrot, Buddy. He is truly loved and greatly missed by his family and friends.
