Obituary

Donald "Scott" Parker received his heavenly healing and passed from this life to eternal life at home on December 24, 2021.  Scott bravely fought metastatic pancreatic cancer for 10 months with incredible grace, strength, and courage.

Scott was born on July 13, 1965, to John Kent Parker and Beverly Ann Parker (Greene) at Eglin Air Force Base and mostly grew up in Tampa, Florida graduating from Leto High School in 1983. After high school, Scott joined the Sheet Metal Workers' Local 15 and worked his way up to superintendent and then a career change to the Building and Construction Materials industry in 2006.

Scott was an avid Tampa Bay sports fan, enjoyed cooking, could never get enough of all things Disney, and was the ultimate Dance Dad.  More than anything he loved and cherished his family.  He will be remembered by all for his one-of-a-kind sense of humor.

Scott is survived by his loving wife Melanie Parker, daughters Kaitlyn Hallman and Madison Parker, sister Pam Peterson, brother John Parker (Joanie), aunt Barbara Adams (Dave) and a host of cousins.

The family would like to say a special thanks to LifePath Hospice for the wonderful care provided and would like to ask in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Scott's memory to them.
