Sara Esther Alarcón, age 75, passed away surrounded by her family on August 25, 2019. Sara was born August 5, 1944 in Havana, Cuba, the daughter of Orestes and Maria Aleman. Sara was accomplished in many facets of the accounting world before settling on hospitality management for over 25 years. More than anything, Sara loved spending time with her family and friends. Those who knew her will always remember her encouraging nature, strong will, nurturing spirit, timeless style, and love of music and dancing. Sara left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Sara was pre-deceased by her parents. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 54 years and love of her life, Florentino (Tino), son David (Gloria Alvarez), daughters Judith (Richard Gaspar) and Dania (Charlie Badiuzzaman), her three siblings, and her greatest joys in life, her grandchildren, Sarah (Derek Doyle), Lauren, Maya, Alyssa, Emelé, Natalee, Juliana, Kai and Manuel. Sara leaves behind many beloved family and friends.

A Catholic Mass will be celebrated in her honor on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Ruskin, Florida.
