Santiago Santiago "Norman", 87, of Valrico, Florida passed away September 26, 2022 at HCA Brandon Regional Hospital.

He was born and raised in San German, Puerto Rico and graduated from San German High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelo Vega and Juana Santiago, his grandparents, Aniceto Santiago and Natalia Ortiz Santiago, his aunt Esperanza "Mero" Santiago, his uncles Alcides Santiago and Francisco Santiago, and his brother Castorlino "Castor" Vega. Santiago is survived by his wife, Justina Santiago, his daughter, Madeline Santana and family, his two sons, Norberto Santiago and family and Orlando Santiago and family. He is also survived by his cousins Miriam and family, Freddy Ocasio and family, Amilcar Montalvo and family, Mery Montalvo and family, Ady Camacho and family, Freddy Camacho and family, Zoraida Camacho and family, Irma Bello and family, Gilbert Alicea and family, Dolly Jimenez and family, Francisco Santiago Jr., Carmen Rosa and family, Aida Santiago and family.

Norman liked to play the guitar, sing, dance, play dominoes and play in softball tournaments. His joyful and strong fighting spirit will be remembered by all who knew him throughout his long lived life. Santiago's memorial service will be on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park in Riverview, FL.
